Abstract(in English) Driving principle of Image-Memory Liquid Crystal Display(LCD)using ferroelectric film has been studied. By using the holding voltage which equals the coercive voltage of ferroelectric film, we have shown a feasibility for low voltage driving of the Image-Memory LCD. Moreover, we have found that the squareness of hysterisis loop of ferroelectric film is necessary for low voltage driving by using circuits simulation. Finally, we have estimated the resistivity of ferroelectric film for low power driving.
