| Abstract(in English) | Recently, we have developed a new original full color organic electroluminescent(EL)display, which has achieved a brightness of over 100cd/m^2 and has the capability of displaying moving color pictures of TV broadcasts. It is 5.7 inches in size and is made with 320x240 pixels. Each pixel consists of green, light-blue and orange elements, which are 0.12mm wide by 0.36mm long. The display is operated by a passive-matrix driving method. Despite some minor technical issues, the results of this development havedemonstrated significant progress in achieving new display products. |
