| Abstract(in English) | We have proposed a color-sequential fullcolor liquid crystal display without micro-color filter. In this system, an special light source whose color changes in a high speed among red, green and blue sequentially and an OCB-mode liquid crystal cell with wide viewing angle and high speed response. The principle and the design rule and the optical characteristics are described. |
