| Abstract(in English) | This report describes the papers presented at the color plasma display session of 1998 SID International Symposium. The total number of the presented papers was 17 papers included 9 oral papers and poster papers. As a result of the researches and developments of many companies and universities on PDPs since PDPs has been noticed as the most leading candidate device to realize the wall-hanging TVs, the number papers of SID'98 was increased nearly three times as many as that of last year. Several interesting topics among the presented papers about driving methods, cell-designs, discharge-analysis and improvement moving-video image quality on PDPs are reviewed. |
