| Abstract(in English) | 1998 SID Symposium held in May 17～22, 1998 in Anaheim is reviewed. The number of papers was 281 and number of attendance was 1680 on the symposium and some seminars. These numbers are inceasing year by year rapidly. Attached Exhibition was also held and well attended as much as 6200. In the Symposium, mainly new devices of FED, reflective color LCDs and new color CRTs were taken notice. In the Exhibition, the color FED panels for picture display, the color PDP for HDTV and the SXGA color TET LCDs having 25-32 inches panel size were showed. |
