| Abstract(in English) | The performance of PDP has been improved in the area of brightness and contrast, garnering the satisfying reputation in image quality for 42-in. -diagonal AC-PDP. While significant advances are still required for the HDTV quality in the future products. We have developed an accurate and efficient evaluation for the motion picture disturbance for PDPs, modeling the virtual pixel on human retina. Simulation and the actual 42-in. panels show very close results, indicating the model used is reasonable. |
