Dye Concentration Dependence of Electroluminescent Properties of PVCz Multi-Layered Multi-Color EL Devices

Abstract(in English) Electroluminescent Properites of PVCz based multi-layered EL devices separately doped with Nile Red, Coumarin6 and TPB in successive layers have been investigated. The triple layered structures, i.e., PVCz ; TPB/PVCz ; Nile Red/PVCz ; Coumarin6, have been fabricated by spin coating. EL properties and emission mechanisms together with current transport mechanism have been described. White emitting EL devices have been obtained by considering the dependence of electroluminescent chatacteristics on the dye concentration in each layer. Design and electroluminescent properties of the white emitting triple layered PVCz EL devices have been described and discussed in relation with the carrier transport in each dye-doped PVCz layer.
