Effect of Cz in PVCz Double-Layerd EL Devices

Abstract(in English) Electroluminescent and electrical properites of Cz doped EL devices have been investigated. Charge carrier transport has been discussed in detail on the basis of the current voltage dependence. Luminance of the PVCz : Perylene/PVCz : Cz EL devices increased with the increase of the Cz concentratiion in a range of 1 to 10mol%. Carrier mobility in PVCz : Cz showed remarkable increase ; from 10^-7cm^2/Vs in an undoped PVCz to about 10^-4cm^2/Vs in an doped PVCz with a concentration of 23mol%. Double layerd PVCz : Perylene/PVCz : Cz EL devices reproducibly exhibited luminance of more than 500cd/m^2.
