Abstract(in English)	Recent advances in Image Processing, Quality Estimation/Color technologies are reported from the IS&T Congress papers.Session highlights are as follows. 1.Image Processing:Focused on Digital Halftoning towards high definition printer.New ED for conventional printing and colorimetric ED methods are expected.Aesthetic and Prefered color imaging is a future problem. 2.Image Quality:Measure of Text quality,Banding,Paper Brightness are discussed in relation to human visual perceptions. 3.Color:Faithful reproduction is usual.△E3 is reported.Device I ndependent and Automated color matchings are in progress.
