| Abstract(in English) | I report here on IDRC'94 poster presentations concerning liquid crystals.The number of presentations is:reflective type LCD 2, simulation 3,LC alignment 3,impurity ion 1,polymer disperse LC 1, and FLC 1,that is,11 in total.Besides the application oriented works such as designing reflective LCDs and compensator for wide- viewing angle LCDs and proposals of novel reflector,the fundamental researches are also presented.They are the simulation of viscosity coefficient,FLC alignment investigation,study of the polymer-LC interface.For LC alignmnet,too,researches are done quite widely,ranging from new alignment methods such as using polarizing light or gratings to the analysis of the anchoring energy for the alignmnet layer. |
