Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We investigated the electrical properties of Liquid crystal molecules on the basis of Physics of dielectrics.LC monolayers on a water interface were investigated in context with phase transitions by means of a Maxwell-displacement-current-seasuring technique. The transition was found to be clearly detected by the technique even in the range of immeasurably low surface pressures. The dielectric dispersion of LC cells arizing from the motion of impurity ions was also investigated in the range of low-frequency, and the result was analyzed.
