Abstract(in English) Organic Electroluminescent(EL)devices were constructed with newly synthesized anthracene derivatives as the emitter materials, in order to study the difference of characteristics between these derivatives and 9-£2-(9-anthracenyl)ethyl!carbazole(An2Cz).The str ucture of devices was ITO-electrode, hole-transport layer/emitting layer/electron-transport layer/Mg-electrode.Efficiencies of the devices utilizing 10-£2-(9-anthracenyl)ethyl!phenoxazine(An2Po)and 10-£2-(9-anthracenyl)phehyl!phemothiazine(An2Pt)were 1.5 and 3 ti mes higher than that with An2Cz.Luminance of the devices with An2Po and An2Pt at fixed current density decreased more slowly than that with An2Cz.
