Abstract(in English) In order to set up a pattern database of ceramics,it is necessary to develop the pattern considering 3 dimensional shape. Then this paper describes the recovery of the solid of revolution form a monocular image unknown camera parameters.The solid of revolution is supposed an old ceramics having a bottom and a mouth. The camera parameters are searched by using genetic algorithm(GA). From obtained camera parameters,the solid of revolution is recovered.As a results,using a monocular image of an old ceramics digitized by scanner,the solid of revolution is recovered.
