Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We studied a method of simplifying an input process of original image data in the synthesis of holographic stereograms.First,one- frame image of an object was taken using a CCD camera. As the object,a building in the outdoors or a box in a room was used. Then, the three-dimensional shape of the object was recovered.Rotating a screen around the recovered object, image data of 100 frames were generated. These image data are recorded on a holographic film using a liquid crystal television panel.Object images which might be seen from different angles can be reconstructed as holographic images with laser light illumination.
