Abstract(in English) Several reports as follows in SID′ 93 are summarized. Session 9 ″LCD Drive Schemes and Modeling″ refers to LCD drivin g methods containing Active Addressing which has recently attracted much interests,and the another. Session 24 ″Passive LCD Devices″ contains reports on Ferroelect ric LCDs and OMI-LCDs. Session 39 ″Dispersions in LC Materials″ refers to the applicat ions of PDLCs for light valves and an LC alignment in a TN cell using a polymer network. Session 44 ″LCD Alignment and Cell Structure″ refers to non-rub bing LC alignment methods and.LCDs with plastic substrates. Poster session ″LC Technology″ contains reports on a rubbing-le ss alignment method,film compensated LCDs,modelings, simulations, ferroelectric LCDs and active-matrics LCDs.
