| Abstract(in English) | Recent advances in color technologies are reported from the 3rd Color Imaging Conference papers focused on scanner, printer, and color management system (CMS). 21 papers including 6 posters were presented, where CMS was a matter of concern. Session highlights are as follows. 1.Scanner:Color filter design, Colorimetric accuracy, and a novel color system by Multi-spectral sensing are discussed. 2.Printer:Halftone analysis, Color dither, Gamut, Color processor, and a new concept of color reproduction based on Color Intent are presented. 3.CMS:ICC activities and trends, future problem on Color apperance or Aesthetics, are introduced with a leadership by KODAK. |
