Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Optical and electroluminescent properties of rubbing-aligned conducting polymers such as poly(2,5-dinonyloxy-p-phenylenevinylene), poly(3- alkylthiophene)s, and poly(p-phenylenevinylene) were studied. Polarized electroluminescence with dichroic ratio of 4 which was substantially the same as that of the photohuminescence was observed from EL devices composed of the rubbing-aligned polymer layer and an electron-transporting layer.
