| Abstract(in English) | This report covers following sessions in Asia Display'95; wide Viewing Angle LCDs (session S23) and optical elements for LCDs (session S32). As for wide viewing angle LCD, there are 4 papers, including new display mode which is not based on TN mode, polymer stabilized bend mode, and dual domain alignment technology. Concerning optical elements for LCD lighting, there 4 papers. A topic is related to compact LCD projector, 2 topics are for improving yield of backlight by changing polarized wrong light, and one is focused on once collimating light an backlight module and diffusing after transmitted of panel. |
