Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed a automatic brightness and color control system for the multi-screen display system. This system is composed of a multi-screen display, a video camera, frame memories, and a personal computer. The video camera takes a whole screen image of a multi-screen display, and the frame memories memorizes the brightness data which is taken by the video camera. The personal computer calculates the brightness data and controls the multi-screen display system in order to equalize those color and brightness characteristics. Consequently, with this new automatic control system, 1/8 color-difference can be obtained and also only 1/7 adjustment-time is required.
