Abstract(in English) We have evaluated the driving method and the circuit construction for ultra low power consumption on reflective color STN-LCDs with a single polarizer. With respect to the driving method, we have found APT was more effective than IAPT which has the low voltage level in the row side for low power consumption. On the circuit construction, we have analyzed the power consumption in every circuit block. Then, we have developed the DC/DC converter, and optimized the power supply circuit. As a result, we have realized the ultra low power consumption driving of less than 100mW.
