X-ray Laser Imaging System for High Density Plasma

Abstract(in English) We developed a soft x-ray laser probe system to diagnose a laser produced plasma. A grid imaging refractometry(GIR) and Moire deflectometry were applied for the x-ray laser probe system. Experiments were carried out at the ILE Osaka Univ. GEKKO XII laser facility. The Neon-like Germanium x-ray laser at 19.6nm was used to probe laser produced plasmas created from 100μm thick CH targets. Moire images and grid images were obtained, showing plasma expansion from the target surface. A2-dimensional electron density profile was evaluated from the grid image.
