Abstract(in English) Gray scale produced by sub-frame averaging in active matrix electroluminescent (AMEL) display is described. This gray scale uses changing illumination times in sub-frame. This method is easier than gray scale by amplitude modulation and Frame averaging. We have examined this method using model circuit of an AMEL pixel.
