Abstract(in English) Several driving method, which are used to reduce power consumption of EL panels, are discussed. Power consumption, which resuls from charge and discharge of capacitive EL panels, is analyzed by using SPICE simulation. The simulated power consumption agrees well with that for ideal model. Assuming EL efficiency, luminance of EL panels can be estimated by simulated dissipated power in the EL cells.
