Abstract(in English) | In order to improve the performance of a 40-inch DC PDP (Plasma Display Panel) for a hang-on-a-well HDTV/Hi-Vision receiver, new panel fablication technologies has been developed. The introduction of photo-process was useful for precise patterning which is necessary for stable memory operation. The new process makes it possible to produce a smaller cell pitch of 0.48mm (H)×0.5mm(V) (1920×1035cells). Hi-Vision pictures could be reproduced on the new 40-inch DC PDP with a luminance of 150cd/m^2. |
