Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Excihtion mechanism of dye molecules which were molecularly dispersed in poly(N-vinylcarbazole) electroluminescent thin filn has been investigated. It was suggested that the Forster resonance energy transfer from polymer to dye molecules might be the major mechanism of the excitation of the fluorescnet dopants. Based upon the comparision of the results in films and solutions, it was concluded that the excimer of carbazole groups acted as the energy donor.
