Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The relationships between the geometrical structure of panel and the electric-optical characteristics of discharge were observed for the time and the spatial variation of light emission due to the discharge by two-dimensional streak camera. The discharge of Ne is observed only above cathodes, and that of Xe are abserved above both cathodes and anodes. The discharge of Xe lasts much longer than that of Ne.
