Abstract(in English) | A new guest host (Gm) LCD featured by high reflectivity, hysteresis free and wide viewing angle is demonstrated by adopting a highly twisted (300 dcgrees) amorphous TN liquid crystal as a host medium. We studied the effect of twist angle on the EO performance of a-N^*-GH LCDs by comparirng with that of conventional W&T GH-LCDs. The obtained lifymess and luminance contrast ratio was ~60 amd ~5.5, respectivity, which will be improved by selecting proper reflective sheets. |
