| Abstract(in English) | This report proposes quadrifilar belical antenna with partially vertical elements. By calculated and experimental data, it is shown that the helical antenna with the vertical elements placed properly, has good axial ratio and broader radiation pattern than the conventional helical antenna of the same size. As the result, it is realized the antenna height is reduced by about 20%. Input impedance of each port in the proposed helical antenna can be adjusted easily about 50ohms without changing the radiation characteristics. |
