Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) IMT-2000 systems will be extended by siting radio-on-fiber in buildings. This eliminates radio blind areas and well bandles the penetration of such systems. W-CDMA, used by IMT-2000 as its access system, reuses similar frequency bands in adjacent radio zones. Accordingly, the radiation pattern of the base station antenna for radio-on-fiber must have large front to back ratios(F/B). This paper calculates the radiation patterns (F/B) of four reflector configurations for a linear antenna using the method of moments. The conclusion is that the partial spherical reflector configuration yields extremely large F/B values
