Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) SS-520-2 sounding rocket was launched at Norway Svalbard rocket range on Dec.4, 2000. We are analyzing data obtained by EFD(Electric Field Detector) onboard SS-520-2 rocket. EFD is designed to observe DC electric fields and plasm waves with frequencies up to 50Hz. According to spectrum analysis, we found low frequency waves with wide band spectrum of 20-40Hz, then make polarization analysis of these waves. On the other hand, the strong natural DC electric fields are observed at almost the top of rocket orbit. The strength of this DC electric field is 30-60mV/m. We are going to make a first preliminary report of this analysis.
