Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Parallel Combinatorial Spread Spectrum (PC/SS) Systems that is a partial-code-parallel multi-code direct sequence SS system has proposed for high-speed data transmission. In this paper, we propose a new channel decoding method for PC/SS systems based on iterative decoding and demodulation strategy by using soft-insoft-out PC/SS demodulator based on a posterion probability (APP) algorithm, Bit error rate performance in AWGN channel is evaluated by computer simulation. Improvement derived from employing the decoding method is significant, about 4 dB gain has been observed compared to Reed Solomon coded systems in signal to noise ratio per bit at 10^<-5> bit error rate.
