A Direction-of-Arrival Estimation Of Coherent Signals Using Second Order Statistics

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a new method that estimates direction of arrival (DOA) by stairing vectors using second order statics. Firstly, we estimate impulse responses including DOA in terms of transmitted signal through the blind system identification scheme without reference signals. Then we estimate the DOA using stairing vectors including the information of angle. This method needs less number of antennas, as low as three, than conventional methods. Some computer simulations verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
