Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes propagation models for ITS inter-vehicle communications at 60GHz. A two-ray model that takes account of a pavement roughness provides an accurate representation of propagation characteristics in the line-of-sight (LOS) case. In the non line-of-sight (NLOS) case where there is an obstructive car between vehicles in communication, a two-ray model, comprising a ray reflected from a surface of the road passing through a space under the car and a ray diffracted on the top of the car, enables to predict propagation characteristics. The accuracy of the proposed models is confirmed by experiments.
