Abstract(in English) | In order to decide the smallest size of compact anechoic chamber used for measuring reactive near field of ESPAR antenna in the near future, we first of all, measured return loss of the ESPAR antenna with several different absorbers as reflect objects. Therefore, we obtained results of the relation between the return loss of the antenna and distance L (from the antenna to the absorbers). From the results, we concluded that a thick pyramid absorber could be used in a very near distance from the antenna and a relative small compact anechoic chamber could be build by using this kind of absorber. Then, we evaluate the reflective equation of model of the experimental network by means of signal flow graph and radar equation. However, theoretical results obtained based on the above reflective equation do not agree with the theoretical ones well. After introducing a new test function, like A=BL^<α>, for reflective quantity A and distance L, we got a good agreement between the theoretical and expetimental results. This probably suggest, according to the fitting results of the α, that there is a propagating relation between A with L. |
