Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) While most of subsurface radar systems use ultra-wideband pulses as the transmission waveforms, typical existing array signal processing methods postulate narrowband waves. Here we suggest two new processing methods for ultra-wideband signals. One is the correlation function method based on the time domain correlation between received waves. The other is the frequency band division method, which estimates the directon-of-arrival by uniting the results of the MUSIC method applied to singals of each sub-divided frequency band.We also examine a denoising scheme using the Wiener filter in order to determine the number of arrival waves.
