Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the mobile and indoor radil communication, it is of great importance to grasp the signal parameters(DOA, TOA, etc.) as the characteristics of the radio propagation because they have a constructive influence on the optimization of the radio systems. It is known that Unitary ESPRIT has super resolution and very high computation efficiency in estimating the signal parameters of the incoming waves. Then, this paper considers the DOA and TOA estimation characteristics of 2D-Unitary ESPRIT for the incident wave with some angular spread. Via computer simulation, the performance of the 2D-Unitary ESPRIT is examined in comparison with 2D-Beamformer method.
