Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The espar antenna has been proposed for low cost analog adaptive beam forming. The capability of simultaneous beam and multiple null forming of espar antenna is evaluated by the method of moment analysis. It is found that a 5dBi beam gain and -15dBi multiple nulls for 7-element antennas are formed simultaneously in almost all directions, excluding the region where the direction of the beam and the direction of the nulls are within about 30degrees. It is also found that the deeper multiple nulls are formed symmetrically to the direction of a passive element. The region of multiple nulls is widened in proportion to the number of elements, while the difference between 7 and 9 elements is slight. |
