Abstract(in English) We have developed a prototype array antenna employed for IMT-2000 smart antenna systems. The developed antenna installs 8 elements in 12-element-clindrical array, and the inner 6 elements are connected with feeder cables. We have measured radiation patterns of various beams which are formed by an analog beam former. The measurement results agree with the radiation patterns which were estimated form those of antenna elements.
