Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the first of the paper, the total absorption power and the specific absorption rate (SAR) of some standard electromagnetic human phantoms such as a cube, sphere and cylinder are numerically calculated using FDTD method in order to investigate the shape dependency of these quantities. It is found that the total absorption power and the average SAR in the cubic phantom is larger than these in the spheric phantom for both the near-field exposure and the far-field exposure when the every phantoms have the same volume. On the other hand these values depend both the polarization and frequency for the cylindrical phantom. In the second half, the radiation efficiency of two simple handy phone models located near the EM phantoms is calculated. It is found that it changes largely corresponding to the position of the antenna, however its quantitative tendency can be estimated by the free-space current distribution on the antenna and its position to the phantom surface.
