Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a triple frequency-base station antenna(900MHz, 1.5GHz and 2GHz)for cellular mobile radio systems. This base station antenna offers 120 degree beam-width in the horizontal plane to construct 3-sector radio zones. The dual-resonant radiation element is composed of a dual frequency printed-type dipole element with a parasitic element on the same dielectric substrate. We measure the return loss and radiation patterns of prototype antenna in each frequency band. The results confirm that we can realize triple frequency base station antennas.
