Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An integral equation solution for transient electromagnetic scattering in the earth half-space is given. Three field components of electromagnetic responses in the earth surface, two horizontal and one vertical, are modeled for practical cases. Numerical results show that the horizontal field has higher resolution compared with vertical field along with the scattering body moving in x-y plane. Such phenomenon may contain valuable information for data processing of field measurements.
