Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a concept of multimedia lane and station as a service form on ITS road-to-vehicle communication with ROF transmission technique. In developing stage of ITS, its service infrastructure is expected to be restricted to relatively small part of whole the road system due to incompleteness of ITS structure. The proposed ITS service structures exploit such physical conditions, and provide intermittent and non-real-time services by high bit rate package transmission. Morever, we propose an adaptive resource management scheme among ROF cells in order to improve capacity of multimedia lane system. Computer simulation confirms that the proposed scheme is very effctive to reduce blocking rate in multimedia lane system.
