Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, intelligent transport systems (ITS) have been promoted as a solution for recent traffic problems. In vehicle-to-vehicle communications for ITS, autonomous decentralized control may be needed because of constant change of vehicle position. The use of time division access for vehicle-to-vehicle communications can bring high orthogonality among communication channels and easy transmission power control. When using time division access for vehicle-to-vehicle communications, slot assignment and timing synchronization among vehicles become important issues. In the proposed system, a common PN sequence is inserted in header of transmission packet, and synchronization is acquired by detecting a peak of autocorrelation. Three autonomous decentralized synchronization acquisition algorithms are discussed in this paper.
