Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the Report AP99-01 (99-4 / Ibaragi University), a demonstration was made about the mechanism of generating errors in the standard site method ANSI C63.5, and the revised standard site method by CRL. Incidentally, due to widely use of the broadband antennas in these days, for automating EMI measurement, requests for conducting the periodical calibration have been enhanced and now both client and contractor are called for rationalization in calibration. This paper gives a comprehensive explanation to how the metallic-floor type antenna calibration test site (CALTS) depends upon the indefinite measure and adoption of the free-space tyepe (U site method and so on) is indispensable for avoiding the calibration error andfor reduction of expenses.
