A Study of Indoor Delay Profile Characteristics at Millimeter-Wave Band

Abstract(in English) Delay characteristics at millimeter-wave(59GHz) band are measured in actual experimental room and the multipath mechanisms in actual room is clarified by using the measured data and ray-tracing method. It is found that levels of diary waves rapidly drop and delay spreads also decrease in comparison with them on micro wave band when the furniture in the room has complex construction. This phenomcnon at millimeter-wave band is supposed that the multi-reflecting wave is disappeared caused by complex reflection generated from the complex furniture and the transmitting wave yields from thc space between metal born into thc furniture.
