| Abstract(in English) | This paper discuss the effects of human head on the antenna characteristics of handy terminals by experiments and calculations based on the method of moments using surface patch modeling.In this paper,we consider the antennas of the handy terminals of Personal Handy Phone(PHP) which are modeled by a λ, 4 monopole ant enna and a planar inverted F antenna(PIFA) on rectangular boxes. We compared the characteristics of these two antennas,in free space and near the head modeled by a rectangular box with salt water.As the results,we have found the antenna patterns change in large amount and the effects of the head on the PIFA are less than the ones on the λ, 4 monopole. |
