Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper,we propose a solusion to realize the imbalanced bothway service among broadband multimedia services, through nationwide broadband communication networking, which utilizes communication satellite sub-system as broadband transmission and public switched telephone network(PSTN)sub-sytem as narrow band transmission.Especially, the proposed sys-tem is effective in case of low traffic operation in the initial stage of the new service,e. g.,video on demand(VOD).This proposed system could be used as a long distance information distribution to multi-points.
