Abstract(in English) For the advanced mobile communication satellites transponders in the future,the transmlitting solid state power amplifiers are required to realize more excellent performances of high power output,high efficiency,low intermodulation distortion,and lightweight than for the conventional mobile communication satellites.This paper reports the test results of the CW power amplification characteristics,the intermodulation distortion characteristics and the amplification output spectrums of various digital modulation signals of the newly developed 2.5 GHz band 135 W output power GaAs FET SSPA with a 48% power added efficiency.
