Analysis of Basic Element for a Strip line fed Circularly Polarized Printed Array Using the FDTD Method

Abstract(in English) This paper describes the numerical results of the far field characteristics of the basic element for Circularly Polarized Printed Array antenna composed of Strips and Slots(CP-PASS).The basic element is consists of a slot and a strip element with a "pr obe".In this paper,the far field of the antenna is calculated from the magnetic current distribution by using the FDTD metod.An optimum length between strip and slot is determined analytically. It has been also clearfied the "probe" of the strip element supres ses the cross-pol.radiation.The direction of pararell plate mode propagation was calculated.
