Abstract(in English) To develop a practical propagation channel model in personal Land Mobile-Satellite Service(LMSS),it is important to fit the model parameters for an environment to which the model is applied. This paper discusses the method to estimate these parameters from a prediction method of signal degradation in LMSS,which can predict cumulative distribution of signal fade in urban area as a function of urban area parameters such as probability density function of buildings,mean building height,etc.Numerical results indicate that model parameters can be estimated by using the prediction method of signal degradation in LMSS.
